Terms of Service

Last updated August 9, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of the Earful platform ("Earful", "we", "us") by organizations, their authorized users, campaign respondents, and other visitors ("you"). Earful provides tools for creating campaigns and collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and publishing submissions. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts & organizations

Organization users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure and for activity performed through their accounts. Organizations are responsible for the users they invite, the campaigns they operate, and the notices and permissions they present to respondents.

3. Campaigns & submissions

Organizations are responsible for the content of their campaigns, the lawful collection and use of submissions, and their decisions to contact respondents, quote submissions, or publish content. Respondents control the contact and publication choices presented in the submission form.

4. Content rights

Using Earful does not transfer ownership of campaign content to us. You retain any rights you have in content you provide and grant Earful a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, analyze, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate and support the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for content you upload or direct Earful to use.

5. Automated features

Earful may use automated tools to classify, summarize, search, or flag submissions for staff review. Automated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Organizations are responsible for reviewing those results before relying on them or publishing content.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Earful to break the law, infringe another person's rights, threaten or harass others, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or send unsolicited bulk email.

7. Communications

We may send organization users service-related account messages. Respondents who provide an email address may receive a submission receipt and, when they have agreed to be contacted, messages from the organization running the campaign. Organization messages include an unsubscribe option.

8. Availability & suspension

We may modify, interrupt, or discontinue parts of the service and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect Earful, its users, or others. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties except as required by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. Continued use of Earful after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
